Women’s Fur Mitt Making Workshop

This project is aimed towards empowering and educating women to handle furs and make their own garments. Focusing on conservation and harvesting of renewable trapping resource. Some key topics of education will be where the furs originate, and how they are processed to use as sewing material. Each attendee will learn how to cut patters and sew.

Go home with their very own hand made garments and basic knowledge on furs and where they came from. With a strong focus on conservation and education on the fur industry.
